Ogun State Government Commends Progress on Alagbole-Akute Road Rehabilitation as Asphalt Laying Begins
The Ogun State Government has expressed satisfaction with the progress being made on the rehabilitation of the Alagbole-Akute Road, where asphalt laying began on several sections yesterday, Sunday.
In parallel, intensive excavation work is underway on other segments of the road for drainage construction, alongside the patching of potholes to improve durability and ensure smooth traffic flow.
Engr. Ade Akinsanya, the Honourable Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, spoke about the ongoing developments, reaffirming the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration’s commitment to revitalizing infrastructure throughout the state. He noted that the government will continue its efforts until all roads in the state are safe and accessible for residents and road users.
