Ogun State Government Commits to Workers’ Welfare on Workers’ Day

The Ogun State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare of its workforce, despite economic challenges, in a message marking Workers’ Day. Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun praised the dedication and collaborative efforts of the state’s workers, saying their hard work has propelled the state’s progress.
He highlighted various welfare packages implemented in collaboration with the Federal Government and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to alleviate the impact of economic challenges on workers.
“The government has prioritized the welfare of civil servants, remitting backlog deductions and ensuring timely pension payments. Additionally, the administration has absorbed Ogun TeacH interns into the civil service, demonstrating its investment in the professional development of its workforce. These efforts aim to support workers and their families, recognizing their vital contributions to the state’s growth.”
“We’re proud to announce the absorption of Ogun TeacH interns into the civil service, reflecting our ongoing efforts to invest in the professional development of our workforce. As we forge ahead, we’re confident that together we’ll overcome challenges and continue building a prosperous future for all in Ogun State.” Governor Dapo Abiodun said.
