Ogun State Government Conducts On-Spot Assessment of Road Projects in Ogun East Senatorial District
In a move to ensure the quality and standard of ongoing infrastructural projects, the Ogun State Government recently embarked on an on-the-spot assessment and inspection of road projects across Ogun East Senatorial District. The exercise, which covered key areas such as Ikenne, Remo North, Sagamu, Ijebu-Ode, and Odogbolu local government areas, is part of the government’s continued commitment to meeting the needs of its people.
This development comes on the heels of the state government’s approval of the reconstruction of five key roads across senatorial districts, including the Awokoya Road in Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area. Additionally, the government has also approved the reconstruction of roads along Imoro-Imegun-Opopo and Igbeba-Eid praying ground-Prison, as well as Imoru road in Ijebu-Ode and Odelewu-Ladeshi-Ishiwo road, all in Ogun East Senatorial District.
The Ogun State Government has also commenced construction of over 64 kilometers of rural roads across the state, despite fiscal pressures on its resources. The government has completed over 600 kilometers of roads across the state, with about 243.3 kilometers of roads completed in the Ogun East Senatorial District.
