Okada Man Allegedly Defiles 16-Year-Old Girl in Sagamu

A 16-year-old student (name withheld) of Ofin High school, Sagamu has been allegedly defiled by a 40-year-old bike rider known as Abraham. The incident happened on the 5th of May 2023, at the victim’s house along Aiyepe road, Sagamu, Ogun state. According to Comrade Joseph Olusola, who briefed our correspondent, the alleged bike man took advantage of the girl who is a special child. The victim’s sick father was in the room when the bike man allegedly attacked her.

The victim refused to tell her parents because of the threat of death from the bike man, but later confessed to her friends who took the case to their principal, Mr. Bakare. For medical confirmation, she was taken to Popoola Clinic for examination by Doctor Abayomi.

As of the time of filing this report, the alleged bike man hasn’t been apprehended. Comrade Olusola added that he would do everything to ensure that the alleged man is apprehended and punished for his offense according to the law.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety of special needs students and the need for parents to be more vigilant about their children’s safety. The government and relevant authorities have been urged to take necessary measures to ensure that justice is served in the case.
