Oke-Afa Community Appeals to Ogun Governor for Road Construction
Residents of Oke-Afa community in Obafemi-Owode local government area, Ogun State, have commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for his commitment to reconstructing the Magboro-Makogi Road and underbridge access road.
However, they urge him to extend the construction work to include the 2-kilometer Oke-Afa Road, connecting Kajola to the Expressway.
Sunday Shobowale, CDC Chairman, reminded the Governor of his campaign promise to construct Oke-Afa Road, highlighting its deteriorating condition and frequent flooding during rainy seasons. Despite the community’s strong support for the APC administration, Oke-Afa has yet to receive promised benefits.
