Our Campaign Rally In Abeokuta Was Huge And Successful- Atiku
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has took to his Twitter account to appreciate the people of Ogun state for the massive turnout on his campaign rally in Ogun state yesterday, Wednesday 18th 2023.
Atiku expresses the rally was a huge and successful one, as people of the state came out enmass to show their support.
He wrote: “Our rally in Abeokuta today was huge. The crowd was full of energy, even despite the hot weather. Thank you, Abeokuta, for your massive show of love.”
“I must also specially thank the Alake of Egba land, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo III, for hosting my team and I during a courtesy visit to the palace. I am most sincerely grateful, Kabiesi. -AA” he wrote.
Atiku was spotted alongside his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, in Ogun State for the party’s campaign as the PDP supporters and members stormed the palace of Alake of Egbaland in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital, to welcome Atiku and the PDP Presidential Campaign Council to the state.
The former Vice President paid a courtesy visit to the monarch before joining Ogun PDP governorship candidate, Ladi Adebutu and his running mate, Adekunle Akinlade, for their party’s campaign for the 2023 elections and met with the PDP State Executive at the Party Secretariat at NNPC/Oke-Mosan in Abeokuta metropolis before heading for the campaign ground.
