Oyalowo Takes Office at Ogun-Osun River Basin, Commits to Upholding Transparency
Ayobami Oyalowo, the newly appointed Executive Director of Finance & Administration at the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority (OORBDA), emphasized the need for collaboration at all levels of the organization to achieve exceptional results.
During his inaugural address on Wednesday, Oyalowo highlighted that fostering open communication, teamwork, and a supportive working environment would significantly enhance productivity and innovation within the authority.
He expressed his gratitude to President Bola Tinubu and the Minister of Water Resources & Sanitation, Joseph Utsev, for their exemplary leadership, and pledged to establish a cooperative relationship with the board and management team.
“I want to extend my sincere thanks to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for entrusting me with this vital role, and to Hon. Minister Eng. Joseph Utsev for his commendable leadership in our parent ministry,” Oyalowo stated.
He continued, “I am dedicated to creating a harmonious and collaborative atmosphere among the Board, management, and all staff members. I firmly believe that synergy at every level of our organization will lead to remarkable outcomes in achieving our common objectives.”
Oyalowo called for the support and cooperation of all employees, stakeholders, and partners in pursuing the authority’s goals for the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority. “I am confident that, through commitment, teamwork, and by adhering to best practices in finance and administration, we can propel the Authority towards unprecedented success,” he concluded.
In response, Gbenga Ashiru, the Managing Director of OORBDA, welcomed Oyalowo and assured him of a strong working relationship moving forward.
