PLP, Ngozi Okaka Foundation, and SAWI to Offer Free Cervical Cancer Screening to 500 Women in Sagamu, Ikenne, Remo North

In commemoration of International Women’s Day, Partnership for Limitless Potentials (PLP)-USA and Ngozi Okaka Foundation, in collaboration with Soyoye Akinyode Welfare Initiative (SAWI), will conduct a cervical cancer awareness and free screening program for 500 women aged 18 and above in Sagamu, Ikenne, and Remo North Local Governments.
The program, scheduled to take place on March 8th, 2025, at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, Ogun State, aims to empower women and save lives through awareness and early detection.
Cervical cancer is a significant public health concern in Nigeria, but with proper awareness, screening, and vaccination, it can be prevented and treated.
By providing free screenings and education, PLP, Ngozi Okaka Foundation, and SAWI hope to make a positive impact on the lives of women in the community.
