POLICE ARREST 3 SUSPECTED ROBBERS IN OSUN STATE
Three suspected armed robbers, identified as Akinola Michael, Damola Adebayo, and Ifedayo Adesina met their Waterloo after they were arrested by officials of the Osun State command for cases ranging from armed robbery, murder, and conspiracy.
During a press briefing, the spokesperson of the Osun state command, Yemisi Opalola, said, ” The complainant reported through a petition that his son, Yakubu Zakariyau, now deceased, who was a commercial motorcyclist in Ile-Ife in Osun State and Ibadan, Oyo State, left home after receiving an urgent call from an unknown number (08100079001) to come and pick him up.”
She revealed that during an investigation, one of the suspects identified as Akinola confessed that he and another victim identified as Alekuso Rotimi ‘m’, who is currently at large, jointly killed the victim with a hammer and buried him with his phone in a thick forest. The suspect also revealed to the police that after killing the victim, they took away his Bajaj motorcycle.
