For the first time since rumors intensified, the governor shared his perspective in a viral video, stating, “I have never commented on the discussions that follow the issues at stake because I don’t believe in talking too much.”
Although the exact date and time of the comment remain unconfirmed, the statement appears to respond directly to the speculation about his political future. Governor Yusuf emphasized his preference for action over words, saying, “What started small has been magnified as said by a Hausa singer, Karamar Magana Tazama Babba. As everyone knows, I don’t believe in talking too much.” He further asserted his commitment to tangible results, stating, “I am always an action man; the actions that will help my people are what I believe in, not too much talk.”
