In a shocking incident, a 56-year-old poultry attendant named Olumiyiwa Abiola has been apprehended by the Ogun State Police Command for his alleged involvement in the theft of 1,300 fowls worth N8 million from Libro Farm in Bamsose, Odeda local government area.

The farm’s director reported the sudden disappearance of the fowls, which were under Abiola’s care. A preliminary investigation is currently underway, and the suspect is in police custody.

Abiola, who was employed on January 28, 2023, reportedly failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for the missing fowls. As a result, the Commissioner of Police has ordered further investigations to uncover the truth and potentially apprehend any other individuals involved in the theft. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, and residents are eagerly awaiting updates as the police work diligently to solve the case.
