President Bola Tinubu Approves Ministerial Redeployments and Renaming of Federal Ministry

President Bola Tinubu has made significant changes to the composition of federal ministries, approving the redeployment of Engr. Abubakar Momoh from the Federal Ministry of Youth to the Federal Ministry of Niger Delta Development. Additionally, the Federal Ministry of Youth will soon be assigned to a Minister-Designate.
In further reshuffling, Ministers-Designate allocated to the Federal Ministries of Transportation, Interior, and Marine & Blue Economy have been reassigned. H.E. Adegboyega Oyetola is now the Honourable Minister of Marine & Blue Economy, Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo is the Honourable Minister of Interior, and Hon. Sa’idu Alkali is the Honourable Minister of Transportation.
Moreover, both Ministers of State in the Oil & Gas sector are now part of the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources. Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri holds the designation of Hon. Minister of State (Oil), Petroleum Resources, while Hon. Ekperipe Ekpo is the Hon. Minister of State (Gas), Petroleum Resources.
Lastly, the President has approved the renaming of the Federal Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management as the Federal Ministry of Environment. These changes are effective immediately as per the directives of the President.
