Prince Babatunde Olufotebi Honored in Sagamu as Friends Celebrates Life of Late Comfort Wosilat Olufotebi
The community of Sagamu came together to honor Prince Babatunde Olufotebi and celebrate the remarkable life of his late mother, Comfort Wosilat Adebayo Olufotebi, affectionately known as Mama Ologede.
The day commenced with a poignant procession to retrieve Mama Ologede’s remains from the morgue, followed by a musical entourage accompanying her to her residence for a touching lying-in-state ceremony. The community then gathered for a church program before bidding a final farewell to Mama Ologede at a private cemetery in Sagamu.
The highlight of the day was a grand reception held at Graceland Events Center on Aiyepe Road, where friends, colleagues, and loved ones of Prince Babatunde Olufotebi gathered to celebrate his mother’s legacy.
The atmosphere was filled with joy as guests danced to the melodious tunes of Labi Obey, paying tribute to Mama Ologede’s vibrant spirit. Notable attendees included RSSOSA 70set, Sagamu Union from the UK, Christian Progressive Society, and esteemed dignitaries, all joining together to support Prince Babatunde Olufotebi during this time of remembrance and celebration.
