Prince Dapo Reassure Pensioners of Payment, increases Strategy to 1 Billion Naira Per Quarter

Ogun state governor, prince Dapo Abiodun on Monday assured pensioners in the State that payment of pensions would always receive priority attention within the resources available, and his Administration will do everything within its power to ensure they are well catered to.
Dapo In a statement said, “As a follow-up to the promise made in 2021 to pay at least 500 million Naira quarterly out of the outstanding gratuities owed by the previous administration since 2011.
“ Today, in a bid to clear the inherited backlog as soon as possible, we have increased it to 1 billion Naira per quarter” he added.
He furthermore expressed his sincere appreciation to pensioners for their support over the years, and for their promise to ensure his success at the polls.
