Prince Sowole Leads Remo Day 2024 Planning Committee in Meeting with Market Leaders, Traditional & Ethnic Groups

The planning committee for the Remo Day 2024, led by Prince Wole Sowole, today, November 6th, held a meeting with traditional organizations, Ethnic groups, market leaders, and stakeholders across Remo land to finalize preparations for the highly anticipated celebration.
The meeting, aimed at ensuring a successful event, brought together notable attendees including Alhaji Sarki, Head of the Hausa Council; Orepitan Olusegun, Babaloja of Ikenne; Honorable Makanjuola, Babaloja of Falawo Akarigbo Market; Chief Akapo Micheal, Iyaloja of Ikenne, Sagamu, Remo North and many other community leaders and stakeholders.
Prince Wole Sowole, the 1st vice chairman RemoGDF and chairman planning committee, emphasized the significance of Remo Day 2024, highlighting its impact on the growth, development, culture, and tradition of Remo land. The event, scheduled to take place from December 20th to 27th, 2024, will feature exhibitions, drama competitions, and art exhibitions showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Remo land.
Also in attendance are; Omooba Abiola Ogundeko RemoGDF Media and publicity adviser, Engr. Olootu Oye Oduguwa,Mr Adekunle Soile, distinguished members of RemoGDF and members of Remo Day 2024 planning committee.
Schools from across Remo land will participate in the celebrations, while the diverse representation of stakeholders reflects the inclusive spirit of Remo Day.
The celebration will culminate in a rally on December 27th, marking the final day of the event. With its rich cultural heritage on full display, Remo Day 2024 is poised to be an unforgettable experience for all participants.
