Ramadan: Igbepa Muslim Community Hold Annual Ramadan Lecture
Muslims in the community of Igbepa, today,26th March 2023, held their annual Ramadan lecture, in the Igbepa central Mosque, which is the second series of its kind.
The lecture started with an opening prayer and recitation from the Glorious Book (Quran) with the chief Imam of Igbepa Fadeelatu Sheikh Issa Otasanya giving an opening speech to welcome everyone to the program.
Baba Adeen, Alhaji Sikirullah Salami in his keynote speech provided an insight on how the Igbepa central Mosque was founded.
The lecture titled “Moral Decadence in The Society” was taken by prof Afeez Ayinde Oladosun, the title is aimed at drawing the society to the canker worm of moral decency ravaging the society by providing useful and practicable solutions.
Prof. Oladosu did justice to the lecture by breaking down things for Muslims to hold their faith, talking about corruption in the society, youth, and their indulgence.
“For you to be a believer, you must be a disbeliever”, He said.
In attendance of the lecture are great Islamic clerics including the grand Chief Imam of Remoland, Fadeelatu Sheikh Abdul Quadir Juniad, Guest speaker Professor Afeez Ayinde Oladosu from the Arabic and Islamic department University of Ibadan, Dr Tajudeen Asaye, Imam Sakirullah Otasanya, Imam Rasaki Olore, Imam Abdul Hakeem Sanusi, Imam Asimuyu Shittu, Iya Adeen Alhaja Risqot Okin and others.
