Re- Opening of Commercial Banks In Sagamu: RemoGDF Meets With Zenith Bank Managements
His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, CFR, (Torungbuwa II), the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland; the Chairman, Ogun State Council of Obas and Grand Patron of Remo Growth and Development Foundation (RemoGDF) is not leaving any stone unturned in bringing back commercial banking activities to Sagamu and Remoland as a whole.
On Friday, 24th March, 2023, the management council of Remo Growth and Development Foundation, (RemoGDF), met with the top management of Zenith Bank Plc. at the Corporate Headquarters, 87, Ajose Adeogun Street, Victoria Island, Lagos to deliver and discuss a royal message.
The delegation of RemoGDF was led by the foundation’s Chairman, Otunba Tunji Lawal-Solarin while other members of delegation include: Mr. Sammy Ogunjimi, Mr. Jide Ogunkoya, Esq., Engr. Wale Fayemi, Engr. Wole Ogunsanya and Engr. (Olootu) Oye Oduguwa. The RemoGDF’s team were warmly received by the Zenith Bank Plc., Group Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Ebenezer Onyeagwu.
The royal message of the Grand Patron of RemoGDF, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, CFR, (Torungbuwa II), Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland was delivered to the Zenith Bank Plc. Group Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Onyeagwu by the foundation’s Chairman, Otunba Tunji Lawal-Solarin.
The royal message shows empathy by the Remo Traditional Council under the leadership of Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, but with the best assurances to the management of the commercial banks in Sagamu that such ugly incident wouldn’t repeat itself again in Sagamu and Remoland in general.
In his remarks, on behalf of the management team of Zenith Bank Plc., the Group Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Onyeagwu, appreciated the visit made on behalf of His Royal Majesty, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland by the RemoGDF delegation under the leadership of Otunba Tunji Lawal-Solarin.
The good news to His Royal Majesty and Remoland from the visit is that, the Group Managing Director/CEO, Zenith Bank Plc, Mr. Ebenezer Onyeagwu has instructed that, the processes should begin for immediate re-opening of Sagamu branch, Ogun State.
