DECAMPS TO APC WITH 100S OF FOLLOWERS

 

Hon Solomon Oyekan also known as Obele 1 has decamped to the ruling All Progressives Congress from the Action Alliance. Hon Solomon Oyekan who was candidate the Remo Federal House of Representative in the August 16 bye election has officially decamped with all his followers.

 

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Ward 8, Sagamu Local Government, witnessed a vibrant atmosphere as Hon. Solomon Oyekan was officially inaugurated into the party at the APC Secretariat in Latawa/ Itusokun.

The event, anchored by the Youth Leader Deji Sabitu, brought together key party stakeholders who mounted the high table.

 

In attendance were:

Prince Muse (Chaiman), Mrs. Bose Sogbesan (Woman Leader), Leader Tijani Mukiala, Leader Awosile Rotin, Hon. Sakire Babatunde, Leader Ajetunmobi, Leader Lasisi (Eleshin), Woman Leader Opero (Simbiat), Alhaja – Jareola (Kudirat),Otunba Lekan Ademoso, Hon Oriyomi Ogunfowoke, Hon. Jimoh Olatunji, Hon. Alara Ogunsola, Bowale Taiwo, and other party executives.

 

Before the arrival of Hon. Oyekan, the leaders addressed members, reaffirming unity within the party while extending warm words of welcome to their incoming member. Dignitaries recognized at the event included Oduyebo Micheal (Councillor, Ward 9), Hon. Samsudeen Awofesan (Councillor, Ward 5), and Hon. Olapeju Ayodele Senior Special Assistant to Governor Dapo Abiodun.

 

Party councillor Hon. Paul Babatunde also addressed members on the growth and strength of APC in the area.

The atmosphere shifted into full celebration upon the arrival of Hon. Solomon Oyekan, who received a grand entrance marked by drums, dancing, and a special welcome song by the party women.

 

Leader Tijani Mukaila spoke on the thorough screening process Hon. Oyekan underwent and commended his dedication. The Women Leader led prayers for him, followed by goodwill remarks from guests.

In a symbolic gesture of acceptance, Hon. Oyekan took photographs with the APC broom logo alongside party leaders. Youth members also expressed their excitement, urging fellow youths and women within the party to rally behind him.

 

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Solomon Oyekan reflected on his political journey from his former party (AA) into APC Ward 8. He expressed profound gratitude for the warm reception and pledged his commitment to the party’s progress.

Party members responded with strong words of support, encouragement, and prayers for his success.

The inauguration concluded in a cheerful mood as members engaged in merriment and celebration.
