Remo Stars Celebrates Historic NPFL Title with Exciting Parade Across Remoland, First South-West Club to Win in Over Two Decades
Ikenne town was filled with excitement on Friday as Remo Stars commemorated their recent victory in the 2024/25 NPFL season with a lively parade. The celebration procession took the team through Sagamu and Remo North before culminating in Ikenne.
The Sky Blue Stars secured their first-ever NPFL title last month, edging out their rivals with a 1-0 win over Katsina United. This historic triumph marked a significant milestone for the Ikenne-based club.
Under the leadership of Daniel Ogunmodede, Remo Stars also made history as the first South-West club to win the league title in over two decades. The last team from the region to achieve this was Julius Berger, which last lifted the trophy in 2000.
