REMOGDF Management Paid Condolence Visit to Family of Late Prof. Emeritus Theophilus Oladipupo Ogunlesi
On behalf of His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, CFR, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, the Grand Patron of RemoGDF, members of the Remo Traditional Council who are RemoGDF Patrons, the Board of Trustees, the Governing Council and members at home and abroad, RemoGDF joined millions of others in paying tribute to Nigeria’s first Professor of Medicine, late Prof. Emeritus Theophilus Oladapo Ogunlesi on Tuesday, 21st March, 2023 at 1, Ogunlesi Street, Makun, Sagamu, Remo, Ogun State.
The Chairman, RemoGDF, Otunba Tunji Lawal-Solarin who led the delegation described late Prof. Emeritus Theophilus Oladapo Ogunlesi as someone that embraced in totality, the vision and mission of His Royal Majesty on RemoGDF.
Otunba Tunji Lawal-Solarin went further to say that: “Papa was much interested in the unity of Remoland and the Paramount leadership role of Sagamu to be at the vanguard of Remo’s development. And, Papa will always insist that building an inclusive Remo in which no town is left behind should be at the vanguard of Remo’s development.”
Otunba Lawal-Solarin described late Prof. T. O Ogunlesi as a man that, believed that traditional rulers should have a more direct role in the growth and development of their respective towns and always advise RemoGDF that an annual report should be given by each traditional ruler of progress in their towns.
RemoGDF Chairman, Otunba Tunji Lawal-Solarin concluded his condolence message by saying that, Papa will be surely missed by Remo Traditional Council, Remoland and that RemoGDF has lost a true Remo nationalist, a fantastic adviser and counsellor, and an embodiment of the best of the best in Remoland.
He prayed that, may Papa’s gentle soul rest in perfect peace, and may his memories and legacies continue to be blessings to Remoland.
On behalf of the children and family, Mr. Kunle Ogunlesi & his wife received the delegation of RemoGDF. The delegation were led by the foundation’s Chairman, Otunba Tunji Lawal-Solarin and accompanied by some members of RemoGDF: Mr. Ola Oresanya; Prince Adekunle Victor Soile and Mr. Lekan Modupe Sobayo.
A letter of Tribute in Memory of Papa was delivered to the family on behalf of HRM, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi CFR, (Torungbuwa II) the Akarigbo & Paramount Ruler of Remoland.
