Residents Seek Swift Action Amid Rising Student Violence in Sagamu

Residents of Sagamu are urging local authorities and stakeholders, including Governor H.E. Prince Dapo Abiodun and the Commissioner of Education, to take proactive measures in response to a troubling increase in violence among secondary school students in the area.

Reports of disturbances have intensified, with incidents involving weapons like broken bottles and cutlasses resulting in injuries and heightened concern amongst the community. A distressing occurrence took place recently between students from different schools in the community, leading to multiple injuries.

Community members are increasingly worried that without prompt intervention, the situation may deteriorate further, jeopardizing the overall safety and harmony within Sagamu.
