Family, friends, and associates gathered in solemn remembrance to bid a final farewell to Madam Florence Adewunmi Ojuroye (née Sodimu-Dawodu), beloved mother of Bet9ja Managing Director, Mr. Ayo Ojuroye. Madam Ojuroye passed away peacefully on December 17, 2024, at the age of 85.
Born on August 9, 1939, in Sagamu, Madam Ojuroye lived a life characterized by humility, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family. The series of events honoring Madam Ojuroye’s life commenced with a novelty march, followed by a heartfelt wake keeping and service of songs held at the Nuga Planet Event Center. The burial service took place at the historic Methodist Church Oko in Sagamu, where mourners reflected on her impactful journey.
