Sagamu Chairman Flags Off Construction of 2.4km Ajegunle–Araromi Road

The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, today officially flagged off the construction of the 2.4-kilometre Ajegunle–Araromi Road, describing the project as a major step toward improved infrastructure, economic growth, and community development in the area.

 

Speaking at the ceremony, Odulate emphasized that the road project represents more than physical construction, noting that it reflects progress, partnership, and a collective drive to enhance the wellbeing of residents. He commended the foreign investors present at the event for choosing Sagamu as an investment destination, saying their confidence in the local government and in Ogun State demonstrates that the region is on the right path of development.

 

The chairman also expressed appreciation to Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for creating an investment-friendly environment and for his leadership in driving infrastructure initiatives that continue to attract global interest.

 

Odulate further thanked the host community for its cooperation and hospitality toward investors, adding that development thrives in peaceful and understanding environments. He assured residents that the project will bring opportunities for commerce, jobs, and overall improved quality of life.

 

The chairman urged community members to remain vigilant and prioritize security by promptly reporting unusual activities to relevant authorities, stressing that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility.

 

He concluded by reaffirming his commitment to the progress of Sagamu Local Government and extending prayers for the continued growth of Ogun State and Nigeria.
