Sagamu-Iperu-Ode-Sapade Road Commissioned as Ogun State Celebrates Infrastructure Milestones

The Ogun State government has commissioned the Sagamu-Iperu-Ode-Sapade road, marking a significant milestone in the state’s infrastructure development.
The road, which spans several kilometers, is expected to reduce travel time between Sagamu, Iperu, Ode, and Sapade from seven hours to less than 50 minutes.
According to Governor Dapo Abiodun, the road project was awarded in three phases to ensure quality, with the first two phases complete and the third phase underway.
In addition to the road commissioning, the state government also announced a contract for the construction of the Siun-Ogere-Iperu-Ilisan road, further expanding the state’s road network.
Furthermore, the Gateway International Agro-Cargo Airport has been licensed for non-scheduled flights, with approval for scheduled flights expected soon, while the Kajola Dry Port construction is set to commence, further expanding the state’s economic potential.
