Sagamu LG Chairman Celebrates Children’s Day, Reaffirms Commitment to Youth Development
In celebration of this year’s Children’s Day, the Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has lauded the unique value and potential of every child, describing them as a heritage of the Lord and the foundation for a brighter tomorrow.
In a goodwill message released on Tuesday, the Chairman expressed joy over the role children play in society, highlighting their capacity to bring hope, joy, and limitless possibilities into the lives of individuals, families, and communities.
“As we mark this special day, I encourage you to stay focused, be respectful, and take your education seriously,” he said. “The future is yours, but you must prepare for it with hard work, discipline, and a positive attitude. There is no limit to what you can achieve when you believe in yourself.”
Ogbeni Odulate also appreciated the vital role played by parents, guardians, and teachers in shaping the minds and values of children. He urged them to continue nurturing children who are confident, responsible, and prepared for leadership.
He reiterated the administration’s unwavering commitment to building a safe and enabling environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
