Sagamu LG Chairman Congratulates Ogun State on 50th Anniversary

The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has congratulated the Ogun State Government and residents on the state’s 50th anniversary, describing the milestone as a moment of pride, reflection and renewed hope for the future.

In a statement to mark the golden jubilee, Odulate said the celebration highlights five decades of progress and enduring greatness for the Gateway State, noting that Ogun’s journey has been shaped by unity, resilience and collective effort. He added that the occasion provides an opportunity to strengthen existing achievements while focusing on building a future founded on shared opportunity and sustainable development.

The Sagamu council boss also praised Governor Dapo Abiodun for his leadership, referring to him as “the Governor of the people,” and extended warm congratulations to all residents of the state for their contributions to its growth over the years.

“Omo Ogun, Ise Ya! Long live the Gateway State! Long live Nigeria!” Odulate said, expressing optimism that Ogun State’s next chapter would deliver greater prosperity for present and future generations.
