Sagamu LG Chairman Felicitates Akarigbo of Remoland, Traditional Rulers, Others on 2nd Remo Day
The Sagamu Local Government has extended warm felicitations to His Royal Majesty, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, CFR, the Torungbuwa II, and other traditional rulers in Remo Land on the occasion of the second edition of Remo Day.
In a goodwill message, the Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, said the celebration reflects the rich cultural heritage, unity and shared values of the Remo people.
According to him, Remo Day provides an opportunity to honour the customs and traditions of the land, while also acknowledging the guidance and leadership of the royal fathers in promoting harmony and development across the area.
The chairman noted that the event serves as a platform for sons and daughters of Remo, both at home and in the diaspora, to come together in the spirit of togetherness and collective progress.
Odulate offered prayers for continued strength for traditional institutions and for peace and prosperity to abound in Remo Land.
He concluded with prayers for divine upliftment for all indigenes, saying, “Aseyi Samodun lagbara Olorun. Remo a gbe dede eni ooo.”
