Sagamu LG Chairman Hails Governor Abiodun on Maiden Flight from Gateway International Airport
The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has congratulated Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, on the successful maiden flight from the Gateway International Airport, Iperu.
In a statement, Odulate described the event as a historic moment that reflects the Governor’s clear vision and commitment to infrastructural excellence.
He said the airport’s operational commencement is proof that Governor Abiodun’s “Building Our Future Together” agenda is steadily transforming into visible achievements across the state.
“Standing there as the aircraft took off, I couldn’t help but feel immense pride as a proud son of Remo,” Odulate said, noting that the project symbolizes progress and innovation under the present administration.
He added that the airport’s impact would extend beyond flight operations, creating jobs, opening new markets, attracting investors, and strengthening Ogun State’s standing in Nigeria’s aviation and business sectors.
