Sagamu LG Chairman Jubril Odulate Felicitates Muslims, Calls for Continued Acts of Kindness
The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim faithful in Sagamu and beyond as they celebrate Eid al-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In his goodwill message, Ogbeni Odulate expressed profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting the strength and patience to observe the fast. He emphasized the significance of maintaining the virtues cultivated during Ramadan, urging Muslims to continue embodying compassion, generosity, and unity even after the holy month.
Quoting the Holy Qur’an, he reminded the faithful of the importance of sustaining acts of charity and righteousness. “And establish prayer and give Zakat, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves, you will find it with Allah. Indeed, Allah sees what you do.” (Qur’an 2:110).
As part of his Eid message, the Sagamu Local Government Chairman also called on residents to seize the occasion to pray for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Sagamu, Ogun State, and Nigeria as a whole. He prayed for Allah’s acceptance of the fasts, prayers, and good deeds of the faithful while seeking divine forgiveness and abundant rewards for their efforts.
“From my family and the entire leadership of Sagamu Local Government, I wish you and your loved ones a joyful and fulfilling Eid. Eid Mubarak!” his statement concluded.
