Sagamu LG Chairman, Odulate, Congratulates Elegbeji on Remo Bye-Election Victory
The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has congratulated Hon. (Dr.) Princess Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji on her victory in the Remo Federal Constituency bye-election.
The election was held to fill the vacant seat at the House of Representatives following the death of Hon. Otunba Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, popularly called Ijaya.
Odulate, in a statement, described the triumph as well-deserved, noting that it represents both a continuation of Onanuga’s legacy and a renewed call to service for the constituency.
He commended leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as well as supporters across Remo, for their unity, resilience, and courage throughout the electoral process.
“I have no doubt that Hon. Elegbeji will represent the interests of our people with honour and excellence,” Odulate said, while assuring the lawmaker of the support of Sagamu Local Government.
