Sagamu LG Constitutes Land Advisory Committee to Strengthen Land Administration
The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has announced the inauguration of the Sagamu Local Government Land Advisory Committee.
According to a statement , the committee has been constituted in line with statutory provisions and the council’s commitment to responsible governance. It is tasked with providing expert guidance on land-related matters, ensuring transparency, and safeguarding the interests of the local government.
The members of the newly inaugurated Sagamu Local Government Land Advisory Committee include Bashorun Adebayo Awosanya, who will serve as Chairman; Pastor Olujide Somotun (DGSA), appointed as Secretary; and Aare Babatanda Y. Shoda, Rasheed M. Idowu Esq., Alhaji Bashir Akinwunmi (S.A. on Special Duties), Olaniyan Bushra Opeyemi Esq., and Adesanya Olubi Adedeji (Surveyor), who will all serve as members.
Ogbeni Odulate expressed confidence in the capacity of the committee to serve with dedication and integrity. He emphasized that the appointment is aimed at ensuring that land administration in Sagamu is conducted in the best interest of the people.
The council boss urged the committee members to bring their wealth of experience to bear in discharging their duties effectively.
