Sagamu LG Election: AFO Leads APC Campaign Trail in Sagamu, Receives Akarigbo’s Blessing

The All Progressives Congress (APC) led by Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate kicked off the campaign trail on Monday, November 4th, for the upcoming local government elections scheduled for November 16th.
The campaign kicked off at the AFO Campaign Office and featured a historic visit to the palace of His Royal Majesty, the Akarigbo and Paramount ruler of Remoland,Oba Dr Babatunde Adewale Ajayi.
The campaign team, led by Hon. Arole Azeez Bello, the Campaign Director General, and Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate (AFO), the Chairmanship candidate, received a warm welcome from the paramount ruler. AFO highlighted his achievements during his previous term, including improvements in infrastructure, employment, social amenities, and community well-being.
The Kabiyesi praised the campaign team’s coordination and professionalism, emphasizing leadership as a call to serve. The team then proceeded to Ward One and Ward Fifteen, where they were met with overwhelming support from residents and party members.
The APC’s campaign launch has set the stage for a competitive election, with the party’s leadership encouraging voters to stand strong and support their candidates. The election is scheduled for November 16, 2024 .
