Sagamu Residents Laments Havoc Caused By Heavy Downpour As One Reportedly Dead Due to Flooding

The heavy rain fall in Sagamu Local government, yesterday has led to another hearty cry from all residents as the flood swept away three victims with one reportedly dead and two severely injured.

According to reports, this isn’t the first time such havoc will be happening, but the government seems not to see it seriously, hence abandoning every complaint from the residents.

The reportedly dead victim is alleged to be a student of Agbele Community High School due to the uniform sighted on him, this hasn’t come with any subsequent confirmation.

Isale-Ojumele, Awolowo market areas are the most affected places every year during downpour.

“This isn’t the First time we are experiencing such a havoc. The government has promised us Several times to do something about it, but all to no avail. We are tired of recording death every time there’s a heavy downpour.

“We are crying to the local government chairman and every political official concerned to please come to our rescue. This is obviously becoming unbearable” a concerned resident lamented.
