Sanwo-Olu Commissions 13 Vital Projects Across Lagos State

Yesterday, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, commissioned 13 vital projects across the state, delivering on the promise to bring progress and prosperity to the people. The projects were diverse, ranging from schools to jetties, medical facilities to roads, and will transform lives and build a better Lagos.
The School of Basic Medical Science Block, MCC (SDG Building), and other medical infrastructure at LASUTH were among the projects inaugurated by Governor Sanwo-Olu. The goal of the medical projects is to strengthen healthcare delivery in Lagos, ensuring modern facilities and quality care for all. In addition, multiple jetties with waiting shelters and shoreline protection were commissioned to improve water transportation, reduce travel time, and ensure safety on Lagos waterways.
Education is a key priority for Governor Sanwo-Olu, and yesterday’s commissioning included the opening of Government Girls Senior College in Agege, Alimosho Junior Grammar School, and Ijaiye Housing Estate Junior Secondary School. The governor emphasized the importance of investing in students’ futures for a brighter Lagos.
The newly rehabilitated Mba-Cardoso Street in Ajeromi-Ifelodun was also inaugurated, providing a major boost to residents and improving connectivity. The road upgrade will save precious time lost in traffic, and the governor expressed his commitment to enhancing the commuting experience in Lagos.
Finally, the Lagos State Printing Corporation was the site of the unveiling of the Heidelberg Speed master Machine, a cutting-edge innovation in the printing industry. Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized the state’s commitment to innovation and the importance of modernizing infrastructure across all sectors.
