SAWI FOUNDER, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES’ SPOKESPERSON MEET DISCUSSES 2025 BUDGET, MINOR ADJUSTMENTS IN LEADERSHIP OF THE HOUSE STANDING COMMITTEES

SAWI founder, Hon. Soyoye Akinyode Solomon is taking proactive steps to X-ray the impact of the 2025 budget on Nigeria’s economy and its opportunities for rural and semi-urban communities.

To achieve this, he recently met with the House of Representatives’ spokesperson Rep. Akin Rotimi Jnr, who represents Ikole/Oye Federal Constituency to discuss the budget’s potential benefits and how they can be leveraged to boost youth empowerment, community health care services, security, green energy solutions and sustainable infrastructure development in emerging towns and developing communities.

This move demonstrates Hon. Soyoye’s commitment to driving positive change and promoting economic growth in the rural eco-system.

During the meeting, Hon. Akinyode Solomon and the House of Representatives’ spokesperson also deliberated on the recent minor adjustments made to the House’s standing committees. Notably, this included the appointment of 8 new Chairpersons and 8 Deputy Chairpersons, a move aimed at enhancing the committee’s effectiveness and efficiency. This steps was taken after the signing of additional Regional Development Commission Bill into Law by Mr President.

The minor adjustments to the standing committees, including the appointment of 8 new Chairpersons and 8 Deputy Chairpersons, aim to provide the parliament with the necessary support and resources to effectively fulfill their legislative mandates. On the list are:
