SAWI TALKS UNITED NATIONS DEPUTY SECRETARY-GENERAL ADVOCATE FOR SDG PROJECTS IN REMO-LAND TARGETS HEALTH, EDUCATION AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
SAWI Founder, Hon. Soyoye Akinyode Solomon has made an audacious advocacy for more United Nations Sustainable Development Projects in Remo-Land. He made this request through the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Chair of the United Nations Sustainable Development Group Hajia Amina J. Mohammed.
Hon. Soyoye noted that the Soyoye Akinyode Welfare Initiatives (SAWI) is committed to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 1- No Poverty, SDG 3- Good Health and Well-being SDG 4 – Quality Education, SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation, and SDG 8- Decent Work and Economic Growth in Remo-Land.
He further posited that such partnership and support will significantly enhance the impact and reach of UNSDG in Remo-Land and Ogun State at large.
Hon. Akinyode advocated for support in form of collaboration, technical expertise, and policy formation, which will translate to the provision of adequate health care solutions, quality education clean water supply, youth economic empowerment, and promotion of agriculture and infrastructure development for needy communities.
