Seyi Law Responds to Critics, Affirms Support for Government
Nigerian comedian, Oluwaseyitan Aletile, popularly known as Seyi Law, has addressed critics, emphasizing his commitment to the government he voted into power. Seyi Law, a staunch supporter of President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 election campaign, expressed optimism about the country’s economic situation improving.
Despite facing backlash on social media due to the challenging economic realities, Seyi Law defended his support for the government and assured the public that he believes in his chosen candidate’s ability to achieve a better Nigeria. In a tweet, he stated, “I can’t abandon the government that I voted for. I can only join them to bring relief to Nigerians.”
Seyi Law shared that he is currently in Abuja engaging with government officials to contribute to efforts that would bring hope to Nigerians. He asserted that measures would be taken to reduce the cost of governance, increase the minimum wage, and improve food affordability. The comedian remains steadfast in his support for the government and expressed his dedication to working towards positive changes for the nation.
