Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello Passes Away at 84
Popular Nigerian Islamic lecturer Sheikh Alhaji Muyideen Ajani Bello has died at the age of 84, leaving an inedible mark on the Muslim community and his fans across the country.
The news of his demise was confirmed by fellow preacher Sheikh Taofeeq Akeugbagold in a heartfelt post on Facebook on Friday morning.
Sharing his grief, Sheikh Akeugbagold wrote: “Today is one of my saddest days! My father and mentor has returned to his Creator. SULTONUL WAHIZEEN of Yorubaland Sheikh Muyideen AJANI BELLO, may Allah be pleased with your soul. Aljannah fridaos for you. Our heart is full of grief and our eyes full of tears but we will say nothing but what will please our Creator, the sole commander of life and death – ALLAH.”
Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello, an Ibadan-born scholar, was revered for his deep knowledge of Islam and his powerful sermons, which resonated across Yorubaland and beyond.
His teachings and mentorship have left a significant impact on many within the Muslim community.
