Sode Road Reconstructed as Odulate Begins Second Term With Infrastructural Project
The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has commenced his second term in office with the completion of the reconstruction of Sode Road, a key access route in the Sabo area of Sagamu.
Sode Road, which serves as an alternative link to the Sabo Market, a major commercial hub in the local government, had been in a deteriorated condition for several years. The poor state of the road affected the movement of goods and people, drawing complaints from traders, transporters, and residents in the area.
According to the local government, the road project was prioritized in response to public demand and in line with the administration’s focus on infrastructural development. The reconstruction was completed within the first three months of Odulate’s new term.
The improved road is expected to ease traffic flow around the Sabo axis and enhance commercial activities within the market and surrounding communities.
In a statement released by the AFO Media Team, the local government noted that with Sode Road now operational, similar attention would be given to other critical areas requiring intervention across the wards.
Ogbeni Odulate began his second term after securing re-election and had previously stated that infrastructure renewal would be a major component of his agenda.
