Solomon Oyekan Adesina Announces Bid for Sagamu-Ikenne & Remo North House of Representatives Seat

In a significant development ahead of the August 16 Remo Reps bye-election, Solomon Oyekan Adesina has thrown his hat into the ring as the Action Alliance candidate vying for the House of Representatives seat representing Sagamu Ikenne and Remo North constituency.

 

Born and raised in Sagamu, Ogun State, Solomon Oyekan Adesina’s journey is marked by a strong educational background and a commitment to community development. A proud product of Remo Secondary School (also known as RSS), Solomon’s early years in Sagamu laid the foundation for his aspirations to serve his community.

In 2015, Solomon traveled to the United States to pursue further education, demonstrating his dedication to personal growth and academic excellence. He earned an Associate in Science (A.S) degree in Database and Management, equipping him with vital skills in information systems and data management. Not stopping there, he obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Informatics Technology from Indiana University, USA, showcasing his commitment to leveraging technology for societal advancement.

Currently, Solomon is nearing the completion of his Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, an interdisciplinary field that explores the design and use of computer technology, emphasizing user experience. His academic pursuits reflect a deep understanding of modern technological trends, which he hopes to harness for the benefit of his constituents.

 

In his campaign, Solomon emphasizes the importance of technological innovation, educational development, and youth empowerment. “My aim is to bring fresh ideas to the table and bridge the gap between technology and governance,” he stated. “I believe that with my background in informatics and human-computer interaction, I can contribute to creating more efficient, transparent, and inclusive representation for Sagamu, Ikenne, and Remo North.”

His grassroots approach and international experience have garnered support from various community leaders and youth groups eager for a dynamic representative who understands both local issues and global trends.

 

As the August 16 bye-election approaches, all eyes are on Solomon Oyekan Adesina to see if his blend of education, community focus, and technological insight will resonate with voters. His campaign underscores a vision of progress driven by innovation, education, and dedicated service to his people.
