The Ramadan Period is a Time for Reflection, Spiritual Growth, Renewal of Faith – Dapo Abiodun

The governor of Ogun state, in a tweet on Thursday, have encouraged Muslim faithfuls to take the Ramadan period seriously, as it signifies a lot in their faith and religious practice.

“In this holy month of Ramadan, I would like to seize this opportunity to wish our Muslim brothers and sisters a very blessed and joyful Ramadan, Kareem! The Ramadan period is a time for reflection, spiritual growth, and renewal of faith, thereby allowing all Islamic Faithful to shield themselves from sin through fasting.

“ As we embark on this blessed journey, let us remember the true spirit of Ramadan and strive to be our best selves. May this month bring us closer to the Almighty Allah and instill in us the values of kindness, compassion, and generosity towards others. May our fast be accepted, and our prayers answered” the governor said.
