Tragic Accident Claims Life on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

A tragic incident occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway when a fully loaded Mitsubishi truck collided with a pedestrian, resulting in the loss of a precious life.
The accident took place on Sunday, around 9:55 am, along the Lenuwa Village corridor on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The impact was forceful, tossing the man into a ditch along the highway.
Tragically, the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and was confirmed dead by a doctor on duty shortly after arriving at the hospital. His body has been retrieved and deposited at an Idera hospital mortuary. The truck driver and the motorboy (assistant) were also injured as the truck somersaulted before ramming into the pedestrian. They were promptly rushed to the hospital for treatment.
