UCL: 16 clubs qualify for knockout round
Following the conclusion of the UEFA Champions League group stage match-day six fixtures on Wednesday, 16 clubs across all leagues and countries have qualified to compete in the next round of the competition.
Recall that Napoli, Liverpool, Porto, Club Brugge, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Tottenham, Eintracht Frankfurt, Chelsea, AC Milan, Real Madrid, RB Leipzig, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Benfica, and PSG have all qualified for the Round of 16 stages after this week’s Champions League group stage fixtures.
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, however, is presently the joint-top leading scorer in the UEFA Champions League for the 2022/2023 season. Salah presently has seven goals alongside Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe.
The Champions League round of 16 fixtures will take place 14/15/21/22 February, with the second legs on 7/8/14/15 March, 2023 respectively.
