Unilorin Student Breaks Guinness World Record with Math Marathon Lesson
Kazeem Sanusi, a 400-level Mathematics student at the University of Ilorin, has set a new Guinness World Record for the ‘Longest Mathematics Lesson,’ lasting an impressive 31 hours, 42 minutes, and 54 seconds.
The remarkable achievement took place in front of Guinness World Records representatives and surpassed the former record of 26 hours of continuous teaching.
The event drew enthusiastic support from a captivated audience, including University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Wahab Egbewole, SAN; Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Management Services) Prof. Adegboyega Fawole; Registrar Mr. Mansur Alfanla; Dean of Physical Sciences Prof. Abdullahi Alafara Baba; Acting Dean of Student Affairs Alex Akanmu; and Student Union President Comrade Victor Agezeh, among others.
Kazeem is now eagerly awaiting official recognition from Guinness World Records.
