Unknown man commits suicide at sagamu toligate
A yet-to-be-identified middle-aged man was reportedly found dangling from a tree in the early hours of Monday morning, the deceased had committed suicide by hanging himself in a bush located before the tollgate.
The man’s corpse had been discovered by passersby who were on their way to work at the Sagamu Sawmill
One of the eyewitnesses who spoke to our Correspondents on terms of anonymity said” I was passing by the bush path to work on Monday morning when I stumbled on the body”
“ it’s likely that the man hanged himself on Sunday night because as of Saturday, evening when I was passing by this very road, he wasn’t there”
“Nobody around here knows him, it seems he’s not from this place,” he said
According to reports, men of the Police force had been seen parading the area, yet hesitated in removing the corpse from the scene as it was alleged that traditional rites had to be performed before he was moved.
