Update: Lagos State Government Announces Rescheduling of Ogudu–Oworonshoki Bridge Repair Traffic Diversion

The Lagos State Government has announced that the previously planned traffic diversion for the repair of the Ogudu–Oworonshoki Bridge has been postponed.
Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, the Commissioner for Transportation, conveyed this update in a statement to journalists in Lagos. He explained that a new schedule for the repair work and traffic management would be communicated soon.
“The state government remains dedicated to ensuring public safety while minimizing disruptions during infrastructure upgrades. We sincerely appreciate the patience, understanding, and cooperation of all residents,” Osiyemi stated.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the repair works for the bridge were originally set to commence on May 13 and conclude by September 23.
