The Labour party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has assured Nigerians that he will overcome poverty, hunger, insecurity and youth unemployment if elected. On Thursday during his presidential campaign say Gusau the Zamfara state capital.
He appealed to the people of the state to vote for him and all LP candidates at all levels in the coming general elections to actualise his mission of developing the nation during his tenure.
“We shall put adequate security in place first; we are going to promote peace and stability in our communities.
“Various policies and programmes are on the way to promote the socio-economic well-being of our people to address poverty at the grassroots level,” Obi explained.
“We are ready to bring positive change to Nigeria; we are ready to serve the common man, He said.
