Wole Awe Distributes Learning Materials to Select Schools Across Remo, Ogun State

Wole Awe, affectionately known as WolusWolus, today Tuesday, September 24, donated learning aids to select primary school pupils across Remo. The beneficiary schools are as follows; Ode-Remo High School in Ode-Remo, United School in Akaka Remo, Ansa-ru-deen Primary School in Isara Remo and Local Government School in Ipara Remo respectively.

 

This benevolent act of giving back to the community was met with gratitude in each of these schools as pupils, teachers and parents came out en massee to appreciate and bless the donor, Wole Awe.

Some of the items distributed are: schoolbags, pencils, exercise books, rulers and crayons. The Parents’ Teacher Association (PTA) levy for each of the beneficiaries was also paid for. Also, in courtesy of UBA Foundation, books were donated to the library of each of these schools for the benefit of the students.

In an interview session with one of the beneficiary schools’ headmistress, Mrs. Leshin Victoria, Headmistress of Local Government School, Ipara Remo. She shared how helpful the donation will be for the benefit of the pupils and also alleviate the parents’ burden in matters that concern their ward’s education.

 

She said, “We really want to thank Mr. Wole Awe. This is not the first time he’s coming here to help the children. Last time he gave them some money, even to the parent. But today now he gave them bags and even paid for some of the things that they need to aid their learning. We really need people like him that will support the community. We say thank you to him and more grace to his elbow”.

 

Wole Awe, advised the pupils to keep doing well in their studies; he also encouraged parents to make sure their children come to school regularly as he will be back to monitor improvement in their academics.
