Woman Abducted by Hoodlums in Ogun, Police Launch Search Operation
Police in Ogun State have launched a manhunt for suspected hoodlums who kidnapped a woman, Tanwa Omoseyin, near the Federal Science and Technical College, Ijebu Imusin, on Sunday evening.
A woman named Tanwa Omoseyin was reportedly kidnapped on Sunday evening near the Federal Science and Technical College, Ijebu Imusin, in Ogun State. The incident occurred around 6:15 PM when Omoseyin and her daughter were traveling on a motorcycle.
According to Omolola Odutola, the police spokesperson who confirmed the incident, the kidnappers used a black Toyota Corolla with no registration number to execute the abduction. The hoodlums blocked the motorcycle, forcibly took Omoseyin, and drove off with her, leaving her daughter behind.
“Tanwa Omoseyin was abducted around Federal Science and Technical College, Ijebu Imusin. The victim and her daughter were on a motorcycle when they were blocked by a black unregistered Toyota Corolla. The hoodlums forced the woman into their car and drove off. Investigation is ongoing,” Odutola stated.
The Ogun State Police Command has since initiated a comprehensive manhunt to locate the kidnappers and ensure the safe return of Omoseyin. Authorities are urging anyone with information that could assist in their investigation to come forward.
