Women Have Been My Biggest Challenge in My Carrer – Davido
Nigerian singer Davido has revealed that many of the challenges he has faced in his career have stemmed from his relationships with women. In a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, the leader of the 30BG crew shared that his marriage has played a crucial role in helping him curb his womanizing behavior.
Davido noted that some of his team members have expressed dissatisfaction with the increased discipline he has adopted since tying the knot. He mentioned overhearing his friends discussing how things have become “boring” now that he is married and lamenting the absence of women from their social outings.
“I stumbled upon my boys chatting, and when I asked what was up, they said, ‘Boss, we’re not having any fun. You’ve changed. Where are the girls?’” he recounted. In response, he emphasized the consequences of his past behavior, stating, “When I get into trouble, everyone disappears and leaves me to deal with the fallout. No thanks.”
Davido reflected on the impact of his past relationships, saying, “Women have caused me a lot of problems in my career. I’m in a good place now. I’m no longer interested in womanizing. Trust me, I’ve reached the pinnacle of success; the best times come when there are no issues. Peace of mind is priceless, regardless of how much money you have.”
